Connect GitHub at the Organization Level
Connect GitHub at the Organization Level
Connect your GitHub organization to Usermaven so your repositories and engineering data flow into your analytics workspace. This guide walks through connecting a GitHub org from your organization-level settings.
Before you start
You need admin access to the GitHub organization you want to connect.
You need a GitHub account that can install the Usermaven app on the organization.
Steps
Sign in to Usermaven and open your workspace.
Navigate to Settings from the top navigation.
Open Repositories → Manage Git connections (organization-level Git Connections settings).
Click Connect Another GitHub Org.
You'll be redirected to GitHub to authorize and install the Usermaven app for the organization. Sign in with a GitHub account that has permission to install the app.
Once authorized, the organization is connected and its repositories become available in Usermaven.
Video walkthrough
The video below walks through the full flow, from sign-in to the GitHub authorization handoff.
Notes
The connect flow always starts from the organization-level Git Connections settings page.
You can connect multiple GitHub organizations — use Connect Another GitHub Org for each additional org.
If you're not signed in to GitHub, you'll be prompted to sign in before you can authorize the app.
